Porter Academy Testing Program

Each child is tested upon enrollment and at the end of each school year to determine their grade level and to monitor their progress.  Routine testing is performed to determine instructional needs. 

The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement (KTEA), Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS), Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT), Kindergarten Assessment, and other specific language tests that assist in analyzing articulation, processing speed and abilities, and receptive and expressive language are used.
