Porter Academy Method
We utilize a developmental approach to ensure that all of our students have a solid foundation for higher level learning and social tasks. All students receive occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, and music therapy within a group setting. Porter Academy also offers students the option of participating in the Integrated Listening Systems auditory/vestibular training program during the school day. Combining the various perspectives and areas of expertise of our therapists, specialists, teachers, and experienced administrators allows us to develop a comprehensive understanding of the whole child. This level of understanding enables us to truly help each child develop and be successful.
