  Porter Academy wishes to thank all of our patrons for their generous contributions to our school since our inception in 2000. We specialize in teaching students with language-based learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, and mild to moderate learning-style differences who have not been successful in a traditional classroom setting.

Our teaching techniques require a smaller class size with more individual attention and multi-sensory techniques that require more materials and more space than traditional classrooms.  These techniques allow these children to experience success, and in turn develop self-confidence and skills that serve as a foundation for life-long learning. 

Our success and growth have been made possible by contributions from people like you.  We are currently expanding our facilities again to serve the demand of increasing student registrations.  The cost to begin construction this summer is over $700,000.00.  Your contributions will help us to build a capital base which is necessary before we can get a bank loan.  We have provided several donation categories below for your intended donation type as well as the ability to pay student tuition and fees by credit card online.  All transactions are secure and will result in an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes from our staff.  Thank you for your generosity.
